Creative notes:
- Keep exterior skies heavily overcast and gray-blue, with low, diffuse light. Dense clouds, fog, smoke, drizzle and dark weather are part of the established look.
- Maintain a worn, improvised environment: muddy or wet ground, ruins, abandoned vehicles, damaged structures, makeshift stalls, sandbags, crates and barrels.
- The fortified compound has watchtowers, gates, walkways, a trading post, communal areas, sleeping quarters and rough interior corridors. Treat the reference sheets as the visual source of truth.
- Nighttime compound scenes contrast cool, dark surroundings with warm lanterns and firelight. In the large bonfire gathering space, the central fire is the main light source.
- Rocket's reference includes his weathered cowboy hat, dusty monkey-print T-shirt, worn pants, boots and utility gear. Preserve the recognizable outfit when depicting him.
- Barter, deposits, supplies, credit and sanctuary payments define the trading post; individual creators can invent what happens within those rules.
- These references establish a consistent setting, not a fixed script. Original stories and different characters can all take place in the same World.
