A scene from a lost 1980s dark fantasy adventure film. At twilight, a young traveler in a weathered cloak enters a misty forest of giant twisted roots and luminous fungi. A small, expressive, handmade-looking creature emerges from a hollow tree and warns that the moon has been stolen. Far away, a ruined crystal citadel glows above the fog. Elaborate practical creature puppetry, physical sets, matte-painting vistas, tactile costumes, atmospheric smoke, rich jewel-tone lighting, subtle film grain, and sweeping orchestral atmosphere. Wonder, menace, and melancholy in equal measure. Original characters and world, no recognizable franchise characters or dialogue. A cinematic 12-second scene with a clear beginning and an unsettling final reveal.
